Question Non-graphic mode problem

Hi guys

Well I've been using Fedora Core 3 for some time and everything was working just too fine like I thought, now that I've been trying to shift from graphic to non graphical mode, as soon as I'm init3 mode, the graphic becomes scrambled...
I've tried to modify grub but nothing works and for the drivers, I cannot get them back to their previous status as I do have the terminal mode...

Anyone could help me?
Well, thanks...

Note:
Linux Version: Fedora Core 3
Graphic card: Nvidia

How did you "shift" from graphical mode to non-graphical mode? Changed the runlevel in etc/inittab?
