no wine functionality, X.org ?

I know wine threads are probably getting tedious but I'm just out of ideas. A while ago I was able to use wine to play quite a few games and run basically everything I needed, but in the past few months, while trying to run say Return to Castle Wolfenstein, wine crashes with

thanks cs-cam ...I'm aware of the native clients. I'm having trouble withe the quake2 rpms and loki installer ...can't even begin to tell you ...but I'm more concerned with wine's behaviour at the moment.
