No sound in Fedora Core 2

I have no sound in Fedora Core 2. When I try to change the volume it doesnt work either.

I have the follow soundcard:

C-Media Electronics Inc.
Mode: CM8738
Module: snd-cmipci

Please help me

hi have the same sound cmi8738 6ch pci sound card.

i had no sound at first, until i updated my system using up2date. don't ask me why, but it worked fine since.
