No "activities option", even after reset?

hi guys,

My cat was sleeping over my laptop ( while running an open session :o ) and has locked the session ... now there is not "activities option", the screen is the known background image, and nothing different happens even after a reset ...

obviusly, that hairy beast has typed something that i am far a way from knowing :-(

any ideas ?

thanks in advance!

Hey guys .. it looks like my cat has done something really bad ...

if i try this:

ctrl+alt+L OR ctrl+alt+backspace ===> goes to login ===> login opens a session without "activities option", no icons in my desktop, nothing at all, just the default FC16 background image ...

I am planning to use a CD live FC16, to mount the LVM disk, to remove gnome and to reinstall it again.

do i have to reinstall another package ?

i mean, maybe that animal has deleted something ? .... this is the second time it brokes something; last time the laptop was in login mode without accepting any typed key; solution was to type SHIFT key for more than 15 seconds :-)

thanks for comments

Hector
