Network configuration returns MAC address in the lower case

I have a prism54 wireless card for which there were no problems in FC2.

Now at startup with FC3 I sometimes receive the message "Device eth0 has different MAC address than expected, ignoring".
Indeed, if I open Network configuration, edit my eth0 device and probe the MAC address under Harware device, it returns an address in the lower case (all the others are numerals).

However, this doesn''t happen with ifconfig eth0: the MAC address is in the correct upper case.

All this resembles the Bug #: 118249 found in RH9.

Anyone with the same problem?
