ADSL modem

Well you fail to specify whether its an ethernet router or if its the less popular usb modem. If its a usb modem its going to be hard as most of them are winmodems and hard to install for linux try eci adsl.

I am going to assume its an ethernet router. So in fc5:

1. Run su to login as root.
2. Run /sbin/adsl-setup
3. Just follow the instructions.
4. save it at the end.
5. Run /sbin/adsl-start to activate and /sbin/adsl-stop
to disconnect.

You need to be root to do this too.
