Angry Need Help getting Wireless Card to Work in Fedora 7

I just installed FC7. I need to get the internet and the only way i can do this is through my Netgear WG311t PCI Wireless Card. This card has an Atheros chipset and i need to install Madwifi to get it to work. Can someone please give me a list of what files to download and tell me how to install them? thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Please remember that i have no internet at all without my Wireless Card.

I don't know about that particular card but many people found that ndiswrapper+windows driver works better than native drivers (and easier to configure too)

just another option

Rep: Reputation: 30 has "madwifi" packages, you can get them here:

If you just try to install the madwifi-xyz.rpm package with rpm, it will give you a list of dependency errors of other packages you also need to install.

I wanted to throw this thing through the window. No RPM worked. Nothing worked. Just tried the freshrpm updater and yum'ed dkms madwifi and blam-my ar5212 is working like a champ.
