nautilus is nautilus irregardless of the Linux distribution. So, what ever nautilus can do in Ubuntu, it should be able to do in Fedora Core 3.
What exactly is nautilus doing in Ubuntu that you want in Fedora?
One big option in nautilus is "spatial mode" versus "browser mode". Fedora Core 3 installs in the "spatial mode" to change to browser mode do the following:
Click on "Applications" then "System Tools" then "Configuration Editor".
Expand "Apps" then "Nautilus" then "preferences", check "always_use_browser" and see if this is what you want.
