my computer specs: is this supported in Fedora Core 1?


AMD athlon xp 1600+
Geforce 4 ti4200
built in sound card, SiS 702 PCI audio accelerated
v.90 serial modem (external)
PS/2 mouse


can i get decent driver updates/updates in the near future.? i'm getting frantic in RH 9

Looks good to me. I have pretty much the same specs on my computer. The only area I could see problems is the sound card, but ALSA will probably work with it. If its working on RH9, then it's probably going to work on Fedora...

Why are you frantic about RH9? As you may or may not know, Fedora is basically a test version of RH10.

yeah, my sound worked fine in RH9 since it was auto-detected.

nothin really, i'm newbie that's why. i feel like i'm searchin in dark room for a needle

RH10? It is very unlikey there will be such a thing as RedHat discuntinued that range of distros after version 9.

You're correct. I was trying to say that Fedora is "basically" the next version after RH9.
