Mtp with Fedora 26

Fedora 26 KDE
What mtp rpm name do I install to connect to my Samsung S7.
Is there a App I have to install on my S7 phone ?

I can connect to my Router with a standard Ethernet on my PC.

I can connect my S7 wireless to Router.

But I cannot connect together PC and S7

MTP is used when your phone is connected using a cable. Are you trying to connect via wifi or cable?

There are many Android file managers that you can use to transfer files to a linux box using sftp. I've only played with AndFTP.

I downloaded the "live" ISO for Fedora and as soon as I plugged in my smartphone, it appeared via MTP. I connected it via USB cable.

I was using the "KDE spin" of Fedora. (Fedora 26)

I plugged in the phone and it recognized phone but could not find any Storage, something about checking MTP for USB being enabled .
How do you get into MTP and check USB settings ?

I don't have a Samsung but, you need to make sure that MTP is enabled on your phone/device.

I just plug in the USB cable and a menu appears with MTP auto enabled. One of the other options on it is USB storage, but you can't have both enabled at the same time. (at least on my phone anyway)

MTP is all you get... Samsung removed USB mass storage when the S5 came out.
