Mozilla acting badly

Mozilla on my new install of Fedora Core 1 is not sending me to any new pages when I click on a link such as a google request or a downloadable file. It will send me to a link from the browser window, if the browser itself brought up the link, except from a link of a window I've used the search button to find. If I use google called from the location bar, it won't send me on any liks gained from the subsequent search. It also keeps nothing in location bar history[ and won't allow me to change the settings for that in preferences].
And as for EVOLUTION, it keeps my contacts OK, but won't access them when I want them for a new post! Aaarrrghhh!

Yeah I just installed Mozilla 1.6. No problems now. Also try Mozilla Firebird and Opera. They work great w/Fedora. Be sure to change the Mozilla installer's install directory to /usr/lib/Mozilla-1.4.1 to overwrite your current installation and avoid reconfiguring your desktop and menu icons to point to the new installation. Good luck!

Thanks beatupbilly. I was finally able to yum update the install and now just about everything works very well.
