mozilla-acroread plugin for firefox under FC4

Hi all,

I have recently intalled FC4 and can not view PDF files within my firefox (firefox-1.0.7-1.1.fc4) browser. The dag repo has mozilla-firefox plugin, but not for FC4. I tried getting the plugin with yum nevertheless (yum --enablerepo=dag update mozilla-acroread), but got this error:

Could not find update match for mozilla-acroread
No Packages marked for Update/Obsoletion

I installed Adobe Reader, which did not solve the problem.

I also installed these two plugins, but got failed dependencies and NOKEY errors.

Does anyone have a solution? If so, please inform me of the solution! Thanks.

Maybe you don't have the Dag repository installed correctly? I don't know; I don't use the Dag repo or any of their packages.

If you've already installed Adobe Reader, then you can try to run the "/usr/local/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/Browser/install_browser_plugin" program as root and choose global installation and it should do it for you.

Thanks, problem is solved now. Actually I had the DAG correctly. For others having a similar problem, I initially tried (and retried x 5) to get it working from the tar ball and INSTALL script. NO LUCK! I finally re-installed it with the rpm and it works fine now.
