Moving to Fedora Core3
Hello, friends.
I need your advise.
I have 2 workstations now. The first with Fedora Core 1. The second with RedHat9. Currently fedora station is used for simple c++ programming only, using libraries like OpenCV, SDL, OpenGL, ParaGUI. The RedHat station uses the same libraries, but a litter deeper. It works with pixelfly cameras.
/etc/X11/XF86Config file is changed for working with 2 monitors. The kernel is changed to version 2.4.24 (no other options). NVIDIA drivers are installed.
Currently I want to move both stations to Fedora Core 3, and I wanted to ask if there should be many changes from the previous versions. Please refer to anything I should change/learn/know regarding RedHat station points, including programs installations, kernel changes, X, makefile and autotools (automake, autoconf).
Thanks a lot,
Leonid
