Mounting WinXP (ntfs) drive and Kernel update?

I'm running duel boot WinXP(nfts)/FC1

I just updated the kernel to 2.4.22-1.2149.nptl

I added my winXP(ntfs) drive to fstab, then made a directory, but when I try to mount the winXP(ntfs) drive I get the message "fs type ntfs not supported by kernel".

What can I do so ntfs is supported by kernel?
The only reason I'm trying to mount my winXP drive is so I can try and run some programs using wine.

I got wine installed ok and can use it to run some programs, but can't use it to run paint shop pro8.
Wine installs PSP8 ok, but I get a error message when trying to run it from wine.

I was going to try and run PSP8 from my winXP drive using wine to see if it works or is this not a good idea?
Could I make a mess of things on my WinXP drive trying to run programs from it?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Here is a link you might enjoy. There are instructions on the page. You don't have to worry about messing up your WinXP drive because you will not have write access to it. Linux does not have any NTFS driver that have fully supported write access. Well, there is one project that has write access, but some question the legality of it. I believe it has to use the ntfs.sys file from windows. I never looked into the legality myself.
