ModemManager attempted to access /etc/passwd
 

Hello,

I received an SELinux alert that ModemManager attempted read access on /etc/passwd when I plugged in my hotspot into the USB port of my laptop. This seems a bit malicious, and I am curious if anyone else has ever had this issue?

0) Please post the actual message in full,
1) verify the integrity of the package containing ModemManager?
*) /etc/passwd only has account nfo, no password hashes (which are in /etc/shadow).
