Making a boot disk for F7
Alrihgt guys, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to linux, in the past I've meddled with it, but I've got a linux class coming up and I was looking around for a distro to mess with so I can go ahead and learn some stuff. I picked Fedora 7... the install went fine, but I don't feel comfortable using grub as my bootloader(bad experience in the past)... but I remember being able to make a boot disk in the past.
I booted off the CD with the "System Recovery" option(I think its like the third option? Can't remember the exact name of it), chrooted /mnt/sysimage... but it looks like I don't have mkbootdisk. So I'm pretty much stuck. I also don't have a floppy drive, so I need something I can burn to a CD/DVD for this purpose if possible... or any other possibilities would be great too.
Sorry if its a bit long, and maybe a little cryptic, I just woke up hah. Thanks in advance.
