make fedoraCore5 to hard real time by RTAI


hi any one.
i install fedoraCore5 in my pc.
now want this make a hard realtime and have all capability of fedoraCore5 becouse i have software that run on it.
in manualse that i read use a clean kernel from kernel.org bu i dont this .
please help me for i have a fc5 hard realrime by RTAI.

Well, you'll lose a lot of Fedora specific patches but you can use a "vanilla" (regular, from kernel.org) kernel and apply the RTAI patches to it. Then just use that kernel.

Remember, though, that filing but reports fo that kernel on Redat's bugzilla is not a good idea.

thanks...
if i want have a kernel that run some programs and install drivers on it then this install kernel in other hardware .RTAI is suitable.
