mailserver howto ?

hi i am trying to set up a mailserver using a combination of postfix , cyrus imap and mysql but i am running in trouble with the imap authentication can anyone give me a hint if there exit some got howtos for postifx , cyrus and maybe in combination with mysql

that would be great or schoul i use other componets for the mailserver ?

maybe someone can help me out
