I'm at a roadblock.

I can't seem to be able to run resize2fs in any manner that allows me to see /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 so that I can resize it.

When I run it under knoppix, i can only see the /dev/hdaX devices.

How am I supposed to unmount the root filesystem to be able to run resize2fs?

Sigh....

I have destroyed my server.

Time to rebuild (without LVM).
