LVM help

Hello -

I have 2 LVM's and I want to delete one and expand the other to full maximum of the drive. (Using Fedora Core 6)

The two are:

/dev/mapper/VG0_root-LogVol00
/dev/mapper/VG0_swap-LogVol00

I want to get rid of the swap and expand the root.

I unmounted the drive and tried lvremove /dev/mapper/VG0_swap-LogVol00 and the output is:

"Volume group "mapper" not found"

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

don't use the mapper device, try /dev/VG0/root-LogVol00 i guess your real equivalent would be.

Thanks Acid!

OK I removed it, however when I do a vgdisplay it shows:

Here is the current situation:

Disk /dev/sda: 292.3 GB, 292326211584 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 35539 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 14 536 4200997+ 8e Linux LVM
/dev/sda3 537 676 1124550 8e Linux LVM

I want to make the VG0_root expand to fill up the rest of the 292G drive.

What are the commands to do this?

Thanks
