lvemux fc4 compiling and man I have a headache

After a painstaking process, my mythtv box is almost completey perfect. Right now i'm working on nuv2disc, and need only one more dependency, but things just aren't working. Well what I need is a tool called "lvemux" which apparently comes with LVE which I've downloaded, and just refuces to compile (ther's a symlink in the LVE dir to ffmpeg, and it points to a cvs version of ffmpeg stored one dir back, which I don't have, and can't locate online) Also apparently according to the "readme.lvemux" file there is a standalone version of lvemux, but I can't find that online either.

So has anyone managed to compile lve in fc4, and if so how? Or does anyone know wher I can get the "standalone" copy of lvemux?
