Lost Yum?
I just tried to install fedora on my second (hdb) to see how the 64 bit works, I have Fedora 5 386 on (hda) and i was sailing along very well, But I'm just addicted to trying out things, well after rebooting I came back to find that the 64 bit took over the 368 on my primary, no problem except now i can't get yum going? i get this message and don't know what to do? i need an explaination and some direction. Thanks, fvs
root@localhost ~]# yum -y update
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:
/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/rpm/_rpmmodule.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.
It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.4.2 (#1, Feb 12 2006, 03:45:41)
[GCC 4.1.0 20060210 (Red Hat 4.1.0-0.24)]
