Long start-up due to very slow udev after upgrading FC6 to FC7

Hello,

I just upgraded FC6 to FC7. Now I have to have 4-5 minutes for udev at start-up. I have read many articles and forums on the net to solve this issue, but I couldn't find a working solution for my case.

* I have several devices I install with hotplugging so I cannot turn-off udev.
* I tried adding acpi=off to grub.conf (I did this abit blindly) it did not work.

I would be glad if someone helps me with this.

Did you look in any of your logs (/var/log) to diagnose this problem?

I checked /var/log there is nothing related to this issue.
