Angry Long period of time to install


I have fedora core 6 isntalled in my computer. I have update the eclipse related packages but it takes like 2 hours.

Thanks for your help.

Your help is greatly appreciated by me and otehrs.

help for what? you really seem to be having some trouble writing insightful questions. if you're asking for help base don the fact that somethign took two hours to do somethign (or fail to do it) then i don't understand how you think anyone would be able to help you when you've provided so so little useful information. show us the commands you're running, the output of them, error messages, detailed descriptions of the process etc...

I would like to install eclipse packages from the add/remove software command but the process took like 2 hours to finish it.

but it's finished now anyway? you need to actually give us error messages and such... try just running the equivalent yum command in a console

I think i have posted a stupies question in the world. My connection speed at university is slower than my house. Therefore, it a bit slow than normal.
