Login Error

i have a major error with a little ANNOYANCE on the side.

every time is try to log in as ANYTHING but root i i am told that i was only in for 10 seconds last time and there some problem.

i even went so far as to go into root and kill the user in question and then recreate it and try again but yet it still tells me i have a problem. i try to follow the inscructs but there un helpful.

it even happens when i creat new user. everyhting but root cant log in throuhg the FC5 gui logoon screen, only root works from there on.

i am an idiot. i would like this post to be modded out of time and space, the whole ERROR is a reuslt of my being to fast o n my feet.

we i recreate a user just to test out WTF was going on i forget to set a shell type.

i was using kuser and forgot to set a shell type and the system jsut wouldnt let the users log on. once is et it it was fine and i am writing this from within a standard users kde 3.5 GUI. thnaks anyway ciao
