Loading drivers at system startup
I just want to load my driver in different Linux distributions after each system reboot.
Could anyone help me and say, what file the system reads during system boot process, to load necessary modules ?
Is there any general for all distributions file name / location, or it depends on particular distribution ?
If it depends, could someone tell me the correct startup filename / location for the following operating systems:
Red Hat 9.0 (kernel 2.4.20-8)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 (kernel 2.4.21-4.EL)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 (kernel 2.6.9-5.EL)
Fedora core 5 (kernel 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5)
