LiveUSB Creator questions

I'm attempting to install Fedora to an external USB drive. My host is WindowsXP. I have liveusb_creator 2.7 installed. The OS is created and runs fine, but my question is can I, from within the Fedora, mount the remainder of the USB drive? Or am I stuck with the 2047MB persistent storage?

Thanks!

Yes.
Your entire drive will just show up like any other removable device (as data storage).
2047MB persistent storage is probably already more than you need.

I personally set it up like this (10gig):
Code:
livecd-iso-to-disk --noverify --overlay-size-mb 1500 --delete-home --home-size-mb 512 --unencrypted-home F10-i686-Live.iso /dev/sda1
I only made the --overlay-size-mb that big for updating all packages with yum.

The "--delete-home --home-size-mb 512 --unencrypted-home" part leaves /home unencrypted and readable in any other OS as well.

Thanks for the response! So the command you posted, am I supposed to run that from my Live Fedora running on the USB?

No. That's just how I installed mine using Linux (Using cli commands instead of a gui. I assume you can do this in Windows as well if you change all commands dos style). The only real difference is that I created a (unencrypted) persistent /home as well to make those settings accessible in any OS.

If you're happy with what you have, you might as well keep it like that.

EDIT: Most people just like to keep the "persistent" part as small as possible since all remaining space will still be accessible anyway (The only reason to make it that big is yum/rpm. If you don't plan to change/add anything, you don't even need an extra overlay bigger than 50mb).
