DistroWatch says: The newly released Basilisk 1.3 (formerly known as RPM Live CD) is possibly the first live CD based on Fedora Core 2:

Sorry guys, I should have pointed out that I have never tried Basilisk; I just happened to see the announcement at distrowatch.org. I posted it since the DW editor says that it's "possibly the first live CD based on Fedora Core 2", and I thought that he ought to know what he's talking about, being confronted with all new distro releases. So I guess it is exactly that: "possibly the first live CD based on Fedora Core 2" (Sorry again, don't mean to be a smart ass, but I couldn't help myself )

Cheers

well i downloaded it and i cant say it is anything special.
it doesnot compare to knoppix for speed and it doesnt have as many applications as knoppix
i canot see any advantage to it in my opinion it was a waist of a good cd-r
