LILO Boot Problem

Hello first of all,

I have a problem with my main computer and as such I need to use windows xp on my laptop.

I already have Fedora Core 3 on my laptop and being the dumbass that I am I installed windows xp on another drive. I forgot that this will clear MBR and clear LILO. What I would like to know is if I am able to log back into Linux or even reinstall and configure the LILO boot.

I dont really want to format the Linux partition because I am using it for my college project, if i could somehow get my configuration files I would consider formatting both drives.

Kind Regards,

Jay

Boot your comp with the install CD, and at the boot prompt issue
boot: root=/dev/hdax noinitrd ro (hdax is where / is for you)
and when you get to the login prompt, run lilo and reboot...
