Have you tried to install the two apps via yum?
mplayer can be found at the atrpms repository, and xine at the livna repository. If you haven't already done so, add those two repos to yum and then do
Code:
# yum install mplayer
or
Code:
# yum install xine
Yum automatically solves dependencies.
Besides, if you're looking for a particular rpm or a dependency, a good place to start ist
http://rpm.pbone.net
