Libraries for MPLAYER

Hi,

While I am installing Mplayer rpm package in FC5, it requires liblirc_client.so.0, libmpcdec.so.3 and libxvidcore.so.4. I could not find those packages in 5 FC5 discks, where can I find and download those packages from?

Thank you.

Jim

or just stop complicating you're self and compiled it from scratch, get the tar.gz from mplayer website, or try looking the plugins itself, and see if they have it on an rpm, which they might have packed it already check lots, of manuals online

you can also try here. This is linked from mplayer's website as the mplayer fedora core 5 package maintainer.

you might need additional packages if you try compiling mplayer from source. otherwise you'll be missing some needed functions in mplayer.

http://www.gagme.com/greg/linux/fc5-tips.php#mplayer has instructions for the installation of Mplayer. Read around the page too, lots of helpful tips there.
