Latest FC11 kernel update won't boot (2.6.29.5-191) 64-bit

Ok I have a Asus m2n32 deluxe MB with FC11 64-bit running just fine. I let an update happen that included the latest kernel 2.6.29.5-191.fc11.x86_64 happen. Restarted the PC to finish all the updates. Then I walked away to come back to find the screen stuck at the first hardware initialize screen and stuck at USB ports. If I reboot and enter the grub menu and select the original FC11 kernel (2.6.29.4-167.fc11.x86_64) boots just fine. If I go back to the new kernel it starts to list hardware and stops again after identifying the usb keyboard and mouse. I am using a KVM so I have tried disconnecting both the mouse and keyboard, as well as the KVM and still the same problem. I can even see the screen when connecting or disconnecting the usb items get recognized. It just will not go past that and into loading drivers. I do have the rpmfusion distros.

Any ideas?

Hi Newbie here as well .. almost.. I realise the cutting edge and New FC11 and there's bound to be some hangups.. it's not a perfect world
a happy compromise, so could I tag along with mbroketry I have similar problems with the new upgrade kernel 2.6.29.5-191 fc11 .i686 PAE
I ugraded and rebooted with the newer kernel and it just hangs after displaying ether nets not ready. I did'n know how to halt the boot
process like in the older versions where you could choose a kernel and move on.
I watched the boot process and it complained about modprobe not using a particular file etc.. but forgot what it was and
tried ctrl C etc.. and it hung there on atd... I then I logged into a terminal session
and it worked and used vim to edit grub.conf and make the default level 1 for the previous kernel and then rebooted.
This ran fine and no problems.. fingers crossed so my question is finally ..
are there issues regards to this new kernel or is it a hardware incompatability as I cannot find any answers.
I have an Asus PK5 Wifi Deluxe mobo with 2 gig of ram and running only 1 sata 300 g drive

I will leave the older 2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i686 PAE kernel running till further notice.

I would be interested to know.. thanks
