Lag of a server at roboot on FC5

There Is a server on the basis of motherboard TYAN S4882-D4 (4 cpu) under control of Fedora Core 5. After installation FC5 problems with reboot have begun - it does not pass on the end:
.....
<here all regularly, deactivity network interfaces, etc.>
Stop cpuspeed [OK]
Started killall [OK]
INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel.....
<Further silence>

Lag can proceed on infinity. Button RESET helps only. On FC4 similar did not occur reboot went regularly. The situation strains that is impossible far off reboot the machine if necessity.
I ask to help.

Maybe an ACPI/APM thing. Could check if all necessary modules got loaded. If that doesn't do it, and there's a version difference between successfully running FC4 kernel and b0rken FC5 kernel, you could try and see if the working FC4 one works for you.

I was loaded with different parameters: acpi=off or acpi=force in grub.conf. Nevertheless the halt of the machine or reboot comes to an end to lag.

Deity I'm dense. Is the problem solved or not?
