KRDC and various Windoze boxen (hang on some)

I use 'krdc' to connect to various Windoze boxes and it seems to work most of the time. The problem now is that sometimes (on a specific machine) it hangs, and never gets to the screen. At one time "it used to work" and I don't believe that I changed anything, but I'm willing to be pointed out as to what I actually changed (it must have been something!).
Symptoms:
1) I use KRDC to connect to a "Windows 7 Enterprise' machine: Works
2) I attempt to connect to "Windows Server Enterprise 2007/SP2": Not work
3) I use the KRDC connection to the machine in #1 to connect to the machine in #2, and that DOES work.
4) I use KRDC to connect to "Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2" and this works also.

In using 'tcpdump' try #2 stalls out after 47 packets if that means anything.

Any clues??

Try turning off Network Level Authentication. It may not work with non-Windows utilities.
