Kpdf launches 3 instances when I click a pdf file

I have tried to use Kpdf while I am in Gnome with Fedora Core 3, and when I double click a pdf file, Kpdf launches 3 instances; one with the document properly loaded, and 2 more blank copies with %C in the title bar. What is causing this behavior? Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure what's causing the problem with Kpdf, but since your thread is 48 hours old and unanswered, I figured I'd make a suggestion.

If you're using Gnome anyways, why not use the native Gnome PDF viewer, Evince?
