I have the flash plugin installed, and it works for my other browsers. Konqueror 3.5.1-5 is configured to search /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to find the plugin, which resides there (well, links to the plugin anyway). Does anyone have an idea why this wouldn't work? "aboutlugins" on Konq does not list it as installed.
Are you using the 64 bit version of fedora and respectively konqueror ? ..If so, konq won't detect your flash plugin and you'll need to replace the konqueror plugin system and konqueror itself with the 32bit versions. If you are using the 32bit konq then I'd suggest trying to install the plugin itself in the mozilla plugin dir instead of having symlinks like you mentioned. Why not point to the plugin files themselfs ..konqueror's settings are quite user friendly....for me anyway.

Oh duh! Yes, I'm using Fedora x86_64. That, of course, would explain things. :]
How do I go about correctly replacing the 64 bit Konq?
It would be easier to install firefox 32 bit. To install konqueror 32 bit, you will have to uninstall a few kde packages just to get it(kong) to work.
That's rather what I expected. I'll just go back to Opera, which was the better browser by far... I only liked Konq for it's integration into the KDE system, and the fact that it's the best FTP client I've used for Linux thus far...
