The knotes are spewed all over my desktop , uncontlrolable, If I tried to remove them one at a time it would take a long time to do so, How can I get rid of knotes out of kde.

I have never used knotes, but I took a look at them.

When I went to create a knote, it wanted me to choose a directory for storage.

Try this: open your file manager and navigate to the "Desktop" directory and check whether the knotes are there. If the are, try moving them to a different directory, perhaps specially-created directory and let us know what happens.
