Kile installation reports kde-config not found---Please suggest
I've worked on Kile latex editor, and I wanted to install it on my computer having FC6.
The configure file reports an error: [guest@localhost kile-1.9.3]$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/lib/kde3/ --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/ checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking for -p flag to install... yes checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for gawk... gawk checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking for kde-config... not found configure: error: The important program kde-config was not found! Please check whether you installed KDE correctly. I've not installed KDE 3.3 that is kile's requirement, so please suggest how to install them now. |
Sorry, I gave an incorrect answer.
