Kernel compile

I want to try my first fedora kernel compile and i want to ask if this steps are right :

make menuconfig (/usr/src/linux)
make
make modules_install
mv arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-x.x.x

I was doing that on slackware . Is the same on fedora?

Thanks in advance

'make install' will do the thingy for you. It will even update your /etc/grub.conf and add another entry for your new kernel there too.
