isn't it weird that the DAG repository GPG key thing won't?

I noticed something weird about the Dag Wieers rpm repository for Fedora. The GPG check thing for yum is borked. All other RPM repository sites have absolutely no troubles whatsoever when you have the link to the key in yum.conf

I guess that means that Dag doesn't know how to run a repository. I wonder why he hasn't fixed this problem. There must be at least one or two people that's emailed him about this once of twice a day that it won't work, etc.

I guess he likes making people ask questions in forums or he likes to go against the grain, norm, etc., since all the other repositories are adhering to the terms of the way that yum.conf works. Which is probably why Livna is #1 these days. Dag is #11 on a scale of 1-10.

I feel bad for all those people that have to remake the yum.conf in various ways because they don't have one big repository for everything that Red Hat or Fedora needs. Then the rest of the places could be mirrors. But oh well, the description of the Fedora Project at says it all. No support from Red Hat means "work around city" for everything involving anything for Fedora Core linunx.

What do you think are the best repositories for Fedora Core?

If you have questions regarding somebody's project and/or the status of another website, please contact that person/website directly. LQ is not affiliated with other sites, and therefore those kinds of questions/comments are best suited to be discussed outside of the LQ forums. Thanks -- J.W.
