Is there a default password after first install?

I just installed Core 1 and after I boot for the first time and every time since it asks for a localhost login and password. N00bie here so maybe I'm missing something, but I didn't establish anything so what should I do? Thanks.

*edit* found another thread with same topic...but what do I put after password? [root@localhost root]# ?

It's completely up to you. It's your system - what do you normally do with a computer?
