is FC only available on DVD?

Are there any compact versions of Fedora (which I am going to try soon), preferably single-disc? I bought the latest version on a DVD, but I would have had to move on if I didn't happen to already have a DVD-ROM drive in the closet.

They also have CD rom versions but they don't have a CD rom version that fits on a single disk to my knowledge.

Yep. There's no single cd version of fc.There's a multi cd iso set and a dvd iso.A barebones installation would require only one or two of the cd's, I'm not sure ...haven't looked at how the rpms are distributed over the cds.
