Irq problems for pci modem
On FC7 installing a Smartlink SL2800 modem the driver module is loading
but I have a irq 16 problem.
Below is excerpts from dmesg as to the enabling irq 16, then disabling
it as show below.
What could be be causing this problem?
I have been to linmodems.org on this problem and they say it's a irq problem.
0000:00:08.0 is the modem according to /sbin/lspci -v
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:08.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:08.0 disabled
slamr: module license 'Smart Link Ltd.' taints kernel.
slamr: SmartLink AMRMO modem.
slamr: probe 2000:2800 SL2800 card...
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:08.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
slamr: slamr0 is SL2800 card.
This is a line (below) in Dmesg how do you run this pci=routeirq command ?
PCI: If a device doesn't work, try "pci=routeirq". If it helps, post a report
