irix 6.5 software: Xv to run in fedora

Greetings LQ'ers,

I have a need to run the irix 6.5 equivalent of: Xv (graphics animator) in fedora core 1...does
anyone have any ideas how one would do this?

I have tried downloading the rpm of xv for fedora...it installs, but it looks like an image viewer,
rather than a movie viewer...

would xanim help? I've installed it in fedora C1 - but no idea how to use it...help!!!!
