IRC server

Hey all, I have recently set up an IRC server, port 6667.

I can use an IRC client and connect by using localhost as the address, but when ever I try connect from another machine it never connects. I have an apache HTTP sever running without a program and I have opened port 6667 on my router and still no luck,

Any help would be great,

~ Idgeitman

google an Iptables tutorial you probably need to load the irc iptables helper for conntrack or something like that I'd give you more to go on but I'm currently working on learning to write my own iptables script myself.
