internal mic problem


hi every one ,
i have a problem in configuring my laptop's internal mic with fedora 14
my laptop is => hp hdx x16 1155ca
can anybody help me ,

Have you checked the Sound Preferences? Make sure that the mic is selected at the Input tab and configure it at the Hardware tab.

it is configured but in vain

this was a problem in sound and it automatically solved in newer edition but the problem now is with internal mic
by the way i tried an external mic and it works fine

any recommended solution ?

It could be a problem as described here: http://fadvisor.net/blog/2011/03/fro...-in-fedora-14/

Before you do the command line excercise, try: system > preferences > sound > input > microphone 2 (or microphone 1 if its defaulted to 2)

try with
