Installing Virt. Guest on FC13 Host

FC13/KDE

How do I make a Guest img on hard drive and install Guest on a FC13 host ?

Is there a set of instruction for doing it on a FC13 host ?

I went to this website for the FC13 KVM instructions, but near the bottom of page 1 he starts off with making a Guest, Debian Lenny, on ubuntu. Chapter 4 Creating A Debian Lenny Guest (Image-Based).

He has got me so confused at this point on wether he is installing a Fedora or Ubuntu Guest.

On that 1st page all steps for making a Host is completed on my Host computer.

http://www.howtoforge.com/virtualiza...dora-13-server

I have got the WindowsXP disk in the CDRom ready to go.

If you do a Google search on KVM , Any prior instructions just does not work for Fedora 13

If you are trying to move Windows system, then use Hiren's boot CD and run Norton Ghost or Image Drive to create a ghost copy.

Then you place Hiren's boot CD in Virtual CD/DVD device and partition your virtual HDD to have 2 partitions (or more).

Use Hiren's boot Mini Windows boot and connecting via network copy image file to second (or third, or...) partition.

Then reboot and again from Hiren's boot CD run Image Drive or Norton Ghost again and unpack image file to primary partition.

Then reboot again and run Mini Windows again and from menu choose "Registry" -> Fix_hdc, something like that (when DOS promt is open choose "T" and type "C:\Windows" then choose "M" to set "Standard HDD controller" as booting HDD controller so you can successfully boot Windows.

Then reboot to virtual Windows directly.
