Installing OS X Using Virtual Manager
I am thinking of installing OS X as a virtual machine on my Fedora 7 install. I have found a good doc on this located at http://www.howtoforge.com/vmware_server_fedora7, but it requires the installation of VMWare and I'd rather use the included Fedora 7 KVM Manager package.
Has anyone successfully done this? Searching for this topic is really tough as all my search results are concerning installing Linux as a virtual machine on a Mac host...I am looking for the opposite solution. Thanks in advance for any feedback! P.S. Hopefully I created this thread under the right forum topic... |
Did try to use the KVM, but I fail hopeless. It seems that OS-X needs to run on a bit more then only a KVM.
Even if you get the OSX to run you need to build a whole set of drivers yourself. |
Pasted the wrong VMWARE tutorial for OS X in the initial thread entry. Meant to post this one:
