Installing Inkscape (RPM?)

the best way is downloading the src.rpm, so go with inkscape-0.39-1.src.rpm
then do:
#rpmbuild --rebuild inkscape-0.39-1.src.rpm
it will compile it and creat rpm(s) in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/ directory. so install it :
#rpm -ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/filename(s).rpm

Fedora Extras provide packages for Inkscape and a corresponding system in case there are problems.
