Installing GCC 4.1 on FC4

Does anyone have any experience installing GCC 4.1 on Fedora Core 4? The current version is 4.0, and I need to upgrade to 4.1. I'd like to do this without upgrading to FC5, if at all possible. Thanks for any input.

gcc-4.1 on FC4 err..... no...... Does CentOS-4.3 count?????

1. Get your list of gcc packages installed; rpm -qa 'gcc*'
2. Download the updated packages from FC5
3. Test install them all; rpm -Uvh *.rpm --test
4. Resolve the missing and dependencies by doing step 2, repeat as needed.
5. Install/Update them all at once; rpm -Uvh *.rpm

Alternative Method; Download and build the source rpm from FC5
